Row by Row Swap

I have never participated in a Row by Row Swap before
and to be quite honest I was a little hesitant...
But I decided to give it a try!

The idea is to pick a theme for yourself and make the first row,
then send it to the next person on the list.
They add a row following your theme and send it on.
There are a total of 7 ladies in the swap this year,
so everyone will end up with 7 rows to put
together as they see fit.  Sounds like great FUN, don't you think?

My theme is "The Northwest".
Cabins, bears, canoes, pine trees, etc.

I made my center block first:

Then I extended the ground and sky a wee bit
and then made two pine tree blocks for each side.

Last but not least I made two different, but alike corner blocks:

Then I sewed my blocks together to make my row...

Now I will mail this row on for others to add to:)
I should be receiving two rows to add my creativity to
later this week.  I know the theme for one is Patriotic
using red, white & blue.  And the other is Owls using
bright colors.  Loving this group:)

Thanks for stopping by.
I hope everyone is enjoying some wonderful creativity this week:)

Love & Hugs,
Terry

I really need to come live with you for a couple of months and learn how to make so many blocks, so quickly and so well!! I would be sitting there eyeing them off, procrastinating in how to achieve those looks! You'll have to share what you do with the 2 rows you have coming your way. I'm blown away..... as always!
