....Additions to my feathered backyard family :)
I have purchased 14 baby chicks to add to my
family of chickens. Of course right now they are in the house..
Because they are way too small to be outside and
it's still too cold here!!!
Having chicks in the house gives a whole new meaning
to the phrase, "Going to bed with the chickens" LOL
Anyway I am so very much enjoying watching these little babies
grow and play. They change in appearance and size daily.
When I purchased them last week they were all fuzzy
little ball s of down, but now they are developing actual feathers.
Oh and 2 of them have found their wings...
so I have to keep a top on their tote :)
Oh, By The Way...rumor has it that there may be some little goats joining
my backyard fun later this Spring :)

They are very very cute Terry! ..... goats??? I want one!!
Aren't chickens just the sweetest. We have six little girls (think pink)The frizzle could turn out to be a rooster. We've had them about two weeks now. We lost a silky and replace "her" with the frizzle. Its so exciting watching them develop.
