After getting the house back in order from the holidays, I call that "reclaiming" my house, I was able to sit down and work on cards. These cards are some that I made for up-coming January card swaps. My plan is to use the first weekend of each month to make cards for the card swap groups I belong to. Key word "plan", we all know how plans can fly right out the window. Maybe my "goal" would be better terminology.
Anyway these cards, along with organizing & cleaning the house, were my accomplishments for the weekend. Now it's back to school after our Christmas Break...the lessons plans are calling my name, very loudly they are calling me!

terry, love your cardinal poem; i always think of cardinals at Christmas and that carol, "there's a song in the air," as one verse goes...."and the beautiful red bird on Christmas shall sing, for the manger at Bethlehem cradles a King"
