February - Whirlwind Start....

February has gotten off on a "fast lane" start... and anyone who knows me very well at all knows I like a little slower pace in my life.  I don't mind being busy but it needs to be spread out, LOL
We have already celebrated 3 Birthdays this month and we have several more to go!!!  Been to 3 doctors appointments, and I have completed all my February paper crafting and quilt blocks swaps and commitments for February.  Looking at my calendar, I only see two more appointments this month...hoping to keep it that way :)  So here are some pictures of what I've done so far this month:

My son's 40th Birthday was on the 7th.  His daughter's Birthday was on the 8th.
First picture is my son and granddaughter, they had a shared party day.

Everyone had a great time.  Hard to believe my son is 40
much less that he has a daughter that turned 13...WOW!!!
Where does the time go?

Grandson's 3rd Birthday was on the 9th.

He had a great time, loves his new ride.

In the sewing room, I made the following quilt blocks for a Quilt group I am in that makes quilts for various charities.

The top 3 blocks are for a "Comfort Quilt",
a lady in the group had a family member pass away,
she will be receiving a quilt of Hearts with many prayers for her and her family.

The bottom 4 blocks are for a quilt that will be
assembled and given to a women's shelter.

Moving into the Paper Craft room, I was able to complete these items.

Above are the recipe cards I've made for a swap

Here are some scrapbook Elements for a swap.

I love doing these swaps keeps me busy and keeps the creative juices flowing.  I am hoping that since I have all my February commitments finished that I can work on some of my Unfinished Sewing items...I have a tote full, from pillows to wall hangings to twin size quilts.  I will be sharing those later this week in their various stages.

Hugs & Blessings,
Terry

Hi Terry, it's nice to hear from an old friend right off the bat. :) I hope you have been keeping warm up there; we keep hearing about storm after storm. Poor Boston sounds completely snowed under. I hope it hasn't been as bad in Indiana.

Take care,
Susan in Texas

PS That chocolate chip cheese ball looks awesome!
