My Lily of the Valley has bloomed!
I just love the cute little bell shaped flowers.
This world that God created never
ceases to amaze me.
Our raccoon, Missy, is back again this year :) She's not really ours, but she eats here, brings her babies up to eat each spring, and makes her presence known.
She has been visiting us for 4 or 5 years now. I really enjoy watching her, and her babies. If I don't take food to her by about 6:00pm she will come to the back door, and sits and waits for me!!!! Then runs ahead of me to her feeding spot.
This next picture is one of her young from last year. They don't eat together, Missy will actually attack her babies if they try to eat while she is at the food. My grandson named this one Batman!!!!

Such pretty Lillies, I've loved them since I was a girl. Do you remember the fragrance Muguet do Bois (sorry, spelling from memory!) I wore it a lot in jr/sr high.
How cool to have a local raccoon, we had one for a pet, for a little while. I'm with Janet, appreciate her from a distance.
