The Lord is my Shepherd...that's a Relationship!
I shall not want...that's Supply!
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures...that's Rest!
He leadeth me beside the still waters...that's Refreshment!
He restoreth my soul...that's Healing!
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness...that's Guidance!
For His namesake...that's Purpose!
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death...that's Testing!
I will fear no evil...that's Protection!
For thou art with me...that's Faithfulness!
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me...that's Discipline!
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies...that's Hope!
Thou annointest my head with oil...that's Consecration!
My cup runneth over...that's Abundance!
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life...that's Blessing!
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord...that's Security!

That's been my favorite psalm since I was a kid. I love the way it is explained. Really lovely, only I don't quite get how being comforted with a rod and a staff is discipline. I'll have to think about that one. I think I might have called it trust instead. (BTW, I don't know if you care, but you misspelled Discipline. My good friend, Virginia, proofs my blog when she reads it, and she can ALWAYS find a nice long list of mistakes for me to correct. lol I think they just multiply when you blink.)
As for what I'm doing next, I have two quilt tops waiting to be sandwiched. One is a dinosaur panel in bright, beautiful colors and the other is intense pansies on a bright green background. No more pastels waiting in the wings for a while at least. 8) How about you? What's next in line?

I can see the rod and staff as discipline. Discipline, not punishment. Very different things.
Oh my, first the quilt police, and now the grammer police! Blogs are like journals, free flowing thoughts. Not practice in spelling and grammer!
Any problems with my spelling are the result of the electrons not doing what I intended when they show up on your screen.
